In our case, the rule was the country of citizenship plus countries where a person had lived for more than six months during the previous five years.
Our working rule was six months from the issue date, or three months for a certificate from Argentina. It needed to remain valid when submitted to Migración.
Bring the child’s school record to confirm grades and year level. In our process it needed a Spanish translation by a Uruguayan Traductor Público, but no apostille.
